A Day of Retreat with the Hermit Archetype

What we need today in our world, more than ever, is the hermit’s light. As we walk the dark pathway of contemporary times, we call forth the hermit in all of us.
If anyone wants a preview of what the focus of the day will be, read the ninth arcanum, the Hermit, in the Tarot by Valentin Tomberg.
Otherwise, the day itself will provide the essential elements for us to contemplate.
Our retreat day will include a few central ideas for silent and prayerful reflection and prayer with these three themes central:
‘the reign of the heart’
‘the health of our inner life’
and
‘the effort of will’.
A communal celebration of the hermit’s symbols, the lantern, staff and blue mantle, will end the day.
DATE: Saturday, July 19, 2025
TIME: Arrive by 9:45 am - Retreat day runs from 10:00 am - 7:00 pm
FEES: $200 + GST. lunch and a light supper are included. This can be paid by credit card or by registering above to send a cheque or etransfer.
