Plant Communication (And Beyond)- Study Group
The earth is generosity itself, and part of the peace we feel when we spend time outside in this often unconscious knowledge.
- Rosemary Dzus
This will be the third season of a fascinating and illuminating journey in communicating with plants. This practice has strengthened my connection to the Earth and the beings upon it, and has also helped me develop more compassion and clearer observations of the people around me.
I believe it is within anyone’s capability to develop a closer tie to Earth and its inhabitants. This connection encourages greater awareness of the plants and animals and elemental forces around us, and a greater understanding of how their presence supports us, feeds us, and nurtures us in many ways. So many ways, in fact, that we could not survive without them.
The goal this year is to travel further along this path, continuing to share what comes my way. In addition to plant communication, we will explore communication with the “elementals,” such as water, wind, clouds and stones, as well as considering our expectations and approaches. For instance, can we tell the difference between taking and receiving in our hearts and bodies?
As technology and its multiple screens pull us farther away from material reality, and the Earth’s environments and species are increasingly threatened, there is no better time than now to seek out the other beings in our world and explore our connections with them and see what they might have to say to us.
I invite those who feel drawn to this practice to join me on the journey.
